Belial Vamdemon has some interesting combo potential with the Fatal Bond keyword, as another Digimon resolving Fatal Bond will cause his controller to gain 2 Memory, 1 for each of the Digimon destroyed. This has potential as an engine for generating enough Memory to play higher-cost cards, though at the moment there are only a small number of Digimon with the keyword.

Japanese card shop Duel Guard leaked the release date and names for three new Starter Decks launching on November 27th: Giga Green, Venom Violet, and Mugen Black. Each deck will retail for 500 yen before tax. Each deck will contain 16 kinds of cards, similar to the first three: 7 Commons, 5 Uncommons, 3 Rares, and 1 Super Rare.
Duel Guard is an officially licensed shop in Chuuoumachi, Niigata prefecture. They leaked the news in order to begin taking preorders at their store. Their post was corroborated by Card Land Akihabara, which is also taking preorders for the decks. Similar to the situation with Booster Set 3—which is currently up for preorder on Amazon Japan—Bandai has not officially confirmed or denied the existence of the Starter Decks. The timing of the decks would place them roughly a month after UNION IMPACT is supposed to launch in Japan.
Japanese fans are treating the leak as real, and speculating based on the names that the cover cards will be new prints of Herakle Kabuterimon, Venom Vamdemon, and Mugendramon.
A sales sheet intended for card shops containing information about the second booster set of the 2020 Digimon Card Game, BT-02: ULTIMATE POWER, was leaked on Twitter late last night by a fan account. Booster 2 will launch on July 22nd, 2020, and introduce the colors Purple (紫) and Black (黒) with the former focusing on manipulating the Trash and the latter containing powerful Blockers. According to the product sheet every Super Rare in the set will be Ultimate level (Level 6) and some of its featured Digimon include Dukemon, Piemon, Ulforce V-dramon, Venom Vamdemon, and Black War Greymon.
ULTIMATE POWER’s setlist will comprise 112 cards: 44 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 10 Super Rares, and 2 Secret Rares. Each booster pack will retail for 180 yen, and contain 6 cards plus one index card. The set will feature Tamer Cards for Takenouchi Sora and Kido Jou from the Digimon Adventure: TV anime series (currently on hiatus due to work complications from the Coronavirus pandemic) as well as cards for their partner Digimon.
According to the product sheet, the target demographic of the TCG is girls and boys over 10, with the “core target” ranging 10~30 years old.
