Sleipmon and nine other cards from Booster Set 3: UNION IMPACT were leaked early this morning. The cards were found by a Chinese Digimon fan, in a copy of Card Gamer magazine acquired ahead of its street date, and shared by DigiCa Player—who previously leaked details about Boosters 2 and 3. The reveals include the Super Rare Royal Knight Sleipmon, and two cards that reimagine the classic 1999 Digital Monster Card Game Option Cards, Let’s Stop Fighting and Elaborate Tactics.

The article also teases three illustrations from the upcoming Starter Decks, Giga Green, Mugen Black, and Venom Violet, which were previously leaked back in August and are set to launch November 27th. The illustrations show Atlur Kabuterimon, Megadramon, and Were Garurumon (Black), as representatives of Green, Black, and Purple.

Booster Set 3: UNION IMPACT will launch in Japan October 30th, 2020. The cards from it will be combined with NEW EVOLUTION and ULTIMATE POWER for the English format, spread across Special Boosters 1.0 and 1.5.

A leaked sales sheet for the fourth Digimon booster set, GREAT LEGEND, was shared by Malaysian Twitter user Jimi Hiew yesterday. According to the sales sheet, BT-4 will launch December 18th in Japan, and comprise 115 cards: 44 Commons, 30 Uncommons, 26 Rares, 12 Super Rares, and 3 Secret Rares.

The set will feature support for Digimon with “Greymon” in the name, including War Greymon, Shine Greymon, and Victory Greymon—the last of which has yet to get a card in the TCG proper. Unlike past sales sheets, BT-4’s cover art reuses existing card artwork instead of showing new ones. The set’s cover cards both come from BT-2: ULTIMATE POWER.

Like all of the preceding booster sets, it will include alternate-artwork Parallel Tamer Cards as box toppers.

Twitter user TechnicalSuwako leaked the rest of today’s V Jump cards. See the previous post for the other cards.

UNION IMPACT will launch in Japan October 30th, 2020. The cards from it will be combined with NEW EVOLUTION and ULTIMATE POWER for the English format, spread across Special Boosters 1.0 and 1.5.

Chinese fan 泽戍绯_Honowo23 posted a leaked page from an upcoming magazine article on the 2020 Digimon TCG to Chinese social media site Weibo, revealing that Booster Set 3: UNION IMPACT will contain cards featuring Goddramon, Saint Galgomon, and Lopmon.

The article highlights that these Digimon were chosen for their popularity, and also restates that UNION IMPACT focuses on Jogress evolutions that can evolve from either of two different colors. Paildramon and Mastemon’s art, previously featured in V Jump magazine, is also reused for the issue, and the article also reconfirms that the set will featuer Digimon with effects that activate when they are revealed from the Security Area.

The bottom of the page contains a small blurb about the ongoing Tamer Battle official tournaments being held at card shops in Japan, and the promo pack participation prize.

The page appears to be from the next issue of Weekly Shounen Jump (out September 7th) which is printed in China and then shipped to Japan. Only a few of Japan’s hobby magazines cover Digimon TCG news at this time: V Jump, Weekly Shounen Jump, and the bi-monthly magazines Saikyou Jump and Card Gamer.

“Not only will Digimon that can evolve from 2 colors appear, but so will effects with 2 colors!”

The October issue of V Jump magazine (out on the 21st) leaked early this morning, showing illustrations from Booster Set 3: UNION IMPACT. The issue confirmed the name of the set, which was leaked by Amazon late last month, and the release date of October 30th, featuring the same art of Blitz Greymon found on the leaked booster pack art. V Jump promises that Digimon with “effects that activate when revealed as Security Digimon” will appear, as well as both Digimon and card effects belonging to two colors.

The theme of Booster 3 is Jogress Evolution, evolution from two different Digimon that was originally introduced in the Digimon Pendulum series virtual pets. (The issue makes note of where it came from.) The TCG represents Jogress as a Digimon being able evolve from two different colors. The set includes Paildramon, a Perfect-level Digimon that can evolve from Stingmon or XV-mon—their colors are not explicitly confirmed in the issue, but they’re most likely Green and Blue, as in the Digimon TCG so far all Insect-type Digimon are Green and all Mythical Dragon-type Digimon are Blue.

The issue also includes illustrations of Mastemon, Lilithmon, Blitz Greymon, and Terriermon. Mastemon was introduced in the video game Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth as a Jogress of Angewomon and Lady Devimon (and thus probably evolves from Yellow/Purple) while Blitz Greymon is one of the components needed to Jogress into Omegamon Alter-B or Alter-S, of Digimon World -next 0rder-. The other component, Cres Garurumon, is on the cover art of the set.

Terriermon’s art presents him with Chocomon, the Baby II form of Lopmon; the two have often been presented as a pair since their debut in the double-feature film Hurricane Touchdown/The Golden Digimentals, where they were the double partners of a single Chosen Child. The illustration could be hinting at a potential Jogress combining the two lines, but the existing Digimon canon doesn’t have one specifically made for them, and so far the TCG has not introduced any new Digimon in its own right.

Given Mastemon’s inclusion in the set, and Booster 2: ULTIMATE POWER‘s introduction of Re:Digitize-themed Taiga and Rina Tamer Cards, it’s possible UNION IMPACT will include a Mikagura Mirei Tamer Card. Other potential Tamer Cards include Motomiya Daisuke and Ichijouji Ken from Digimon Adventure 02 (associated with Imperialdramon, the set’s cover card) Wallace from Hurricane Touchdown/The Golden Digimentals (partner to Terriermon and Lopmon) and Tsuzuki Shouma of Digimon World -next 0rder-. (Partner to Omegamon Alter-B.)

Japanese card shop Duel Guard leaked the release date and names for three new Starter Decks launching on November 27th: Giga Green, Venom Violet, and Mugen Black. Each deck will retail for 500 yen before tax. Each deck will contain 16 kinds of cards, similar to the first three: 7 Commons, 5 Uncommons, 3 Rares, and 1 Super Rare.

Duel Guard is an officially licensed shop in Chuuoumachi, Niigata prefecture. They leaked the news in order to begin taking preorders at their store. Their post was corroborated by Card Land Akihabara, which is also taking preorders for the decks. Similar to the situation with Booster Set 3—which is currently up for preorder on Amazon Japan—Bandai has not officially confirmed or denied the existence of the Starter Decks. The timing of the decks would place them roughly a month after UNION IMPACT is supposed to launch in Japan.

Japanese fans are treating the leak as real, and speculating based on the names that the cover cards will be new prints of Herakle Kabuterimon, Venom Vamdemon, and Mugendramon.
